Order Receipt and Acceptance
We strongly encourage our customers to inspect the packaging of your item(s) when it/they arrive. Customer shall inspect and accept or reject each shipment upon receipt. Customer may reject a shipment only if (a) the Products or quantities received do not match the bill of lading or (b) there is visible damage to the Products (or their packaging). Customer must note the reason for rejection on the delivery receipt prior to the carrierís departure. If unsure the shipment is damaged, then it should be noted on the delivery receipt as “possible” or “inside” damage. Customer must also notify Solar Gear Supply in writing via email of the reason for rejection within 18 hours of delivery. FAILURE TO NOTE REASONS FOR REJECTION ON THE DELIVERY RECEIPT OR TO NOTIFY SOLAR GEAR SUPPLY SHALL BE DEEMED AN UNQUALIFIED ACCEPTANCE OF THE SHIPMENT.
In order to return products, customer must request a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number from Solar Gear Supply. Contact customer service at: firstname.lastname@example.org for details and instructions. If Solar Gear Supply agrees to accept a return of the product(s), the customer must clearly mark the RMA number on the return package. All products must be returned with shipping prepaid and insured to the address specified by Solar Gear Supply. Only the original customer may request an RMA number; purchasers of products from customer must work through customer.
Solar Gear Supply will issue customer a store credit to be used on our online store at www.SolarGearSupply.com for the purchase price of all normally-stocked merchandise returned with an RMA number and in new condition, in original packaging. Solar Gear Supply will NOT issue cash refund for returned merchandise. Solar Gear Supply will issue customer a store credit ONLY for all accepted returns. Store credit will be issued to customer via email in the form of an online store coupon code to be used at www.SolarGearSupply.com.
Solar Gear Supply is NOT responsible for any defective product due to a manufacturing error. If customer happens to experience an issue with defective product(s) due to a manufacturing error, the customer is required to deal directly with the manufacturer/vendor of that product.
Solar Gear Supply reserves the right to charge a restocking fee on products returned of up to twenty percent (20%) absent a verifiable problem with the delivery.
If (a) customer requests an RMA number more than 14 days after delivery or products are (b) not returned in a condition suitable for resale, (c) not normally stocked, or (d) special-order items, such as appliances, trackers, and other custom electronics, Solar Gear Supply will not issue customer a store credit.
Damaged or defective products are not eligible for return. Solar Gear Supply will notify the customer to make arrangements to dispose of the damaged product. If customer fails to do so after 21 days, Solar Gear Supply's suppliers may dispose of the damaged product(s) without liability to customer.
